India, Russia ties are deep-rooted, India ready to help with Ukraine resolution: PM Modi

Kazan/New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said the bond between India and Russia is deep-rooted, even as he said that New Delhi is ready to do everything possible to help in resolving the Ukraine conflict.
In a post on X after holding bilateral talks with President Vladimir Putin, on the sidelines of the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan, PM Modi said their talks focused on how to add more vigour to the partnership.
“Had an excellent meeting with President Putin. The bond between India and Russia is deep-rooted. Our talks focussed on how to add even more vigour to our bilateral partnership across diverse sectors.”
