Exclusion of CJI from EC selection panel: Parliament has the prerogative to make law: SC

New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Wednesday observed that it is for Parliament to make a law governing the appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner and other Election Commissioners, and courts cannot direct the legislature on what kind of law it should enact.
