SC to hear plea on Nov 25 seeking removal of AI-generated communal video posted by BJP Assam unit

New Delhi, Oct 31(UNI) The Supreme Court today said it will hear on November 25 a plea seeking the removal of an AI-generated video posted on social media platform X by the BJP’s Assam unit.
The video allegedly promotes a communal narrative suggesting a “Muslim takeover” of the State if the party were to lose elections.
The matter was mentioned before a Bench of Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Sandeep Mehta by Advocate Nizam Pasha, who sought urgent listing, noting that the Court had earlier issued notice in the case, but it had not been listed since.
