Lt Gen Ghai said today's talks will be to discuss the "modalities that would enable the longevity of this understanding".
Moreover, Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi gave full authority to the commanders of the Western borders during a security review meeting and gave full authority for counteraction in the kinetic domain to any violation of the understanding reached vide the DGMO talks.
Giving details about Operation Sindoor, the DGMO said that between May 7 and 10, more than 30 Pakistani army personnel were reported to have been killed in artillery and small arms firing on the Line of Control.
