250 more shelter homes to provide relief for homeless during cold nights

New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) In addition to the regular shelter homes in the national capital, 250 new ones in Delhi will ensure that no person is forced to sleep under the open sky during the upcoming cold nights.
According to the Chief Minister's Office, the government’s objective is very clear that every homeless person should receive shelter and safety under the Winter Action Plan, which will run from 15 November to 15 March.
Use of modern technology is being employed in this initiative to ensure not only comfort for the homeless, but also the smooth and efficient operation of these shelters that are going to house the homeless in the cold weather conditions, the officials said.
