Delhi Congress criticises Rekha Gupta Govt over condition of state-run schools

New Delhi, May 9 (UNI) Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Devender Yadav on Saturday criticised the Delhi Government over the condition of government schools in the national capital, alleging that the BJP-led administration has failed to improve school infrastructure and educational facilities despite being in power for over a year.
Yadav said it was surprising that Chief Minister Rekha Gupta had to visit a Government Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Roop Nagar to assess issues such as drinking water availability, fire safety, toilet conditions, cleanliness, shortage of teachers, and overall academic environment in schools.
He alleged that many government schools in Delhi continue to function in poor conditions, with some operating from tin sheds and others lacking adequate infrastructure and hygienic facilities for students.
