Indian Navy to commission first indigenous diving support vessel 'Nistar' on July 18

New Delhi, July 10 (UNI) Indian Navy is all set to commission the first of the class Diving Support Vessel (DSV) Nistar at Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam in the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on July 18.

The event marks the formal induction of the ship which has been indigenously designed and constructed by Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Visakhapatnam. On commissioning, the ship will join the Eastern Naval Command to support deep sea diving and submarine rescue operations, a Defence Ministry statement said.

ED conducts raids in ₹311 crore SBI bank fraud case linked to steel firms

New Delhi, May 20 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Chennai Zonal Office, on Wednesday said it had recently conducted search operations at seven premises linked to Thangam Steel Ltd. (TSL), PS Krishnamurthy Steels Private Ltd. (PSK), and their directors and key co-accused in Chennai, for offences related to cheating and bank fraud.
The ED initiated the investigation based on two FIRs registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), EOB Chennai, for offences related to cheating and bank fraud under the IPC, 1860.

Delhi reels under scorching heat, IMD warns of heat wave; Orange alert issued
