India to host third International Fleet Review in Visakhapatnam, over 50 navies to participate

New Delhi, Oct 31 (UNI) The Indian Navy will host the third International Fleet Review (IFR) in Visakhapatnam in February next year with naval forces and warships from more than 50 countries — including major nations such as the United States, Russia, Japan and Australia — participating in the event.
President Droupadi Murmu, the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces, will review the fleet.
Along with the International Fleet Review, the ‘MILAN Exercise-2026’ and a conclave of naval chiefs from several countries (Indian Ocean Naval Symposium IONS) will also be held. The Indian Navy has previously organized the International Fleet Review twice—first in 2001 in Mumbai and then in 2016 in Visakhapatnam. All three international events will be held from February 15-25.
