Rs 37.20 cr Coaching Scam: ACB arrests 9 in Jai Bhim Yojana fraud case

New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) In a major crackdown, the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of the Delhi Government has arrested nine owners, directors, and associated persons of coaching institutes in connection with an alleged Rs 37.20 crore scam under the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana.
All nine accused, Ravindra Singh Jadon, Sanjeev, Azad Kalet, Harshit, Narendra Kumar Gupta, Shambhu Sharan, Sanjay Kumar, Jeetender Kumar, and Kunvar Digvijay Singh, were arrested on April 29, and produced before a Special Court on which remanded them to 14 days of judicial custody.
According to officials, the case was registered on August 7, 2025, following allegations by the Department of Welfare of SCs, STs, and OBCs that several empanelled coaching institutes had committed large-scale irregularities to siphon off government funds.
