Digital innovations & reforms for cooperative banks to be discussed in Co-op Kumbh 2025

New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) Efforts are underway to strengthen and bring reforms in the cooperative banks, aimed to bolster their systems, moving towards effective digitalization of the smaller banks falling in the ambit of this sector.
In this connection, an international conference on urban cooperative credit sector, “Co-op Kumbh 2025,” is being hosted by the National Federation of Urban Co-operative Banks and Credit Societies (NAFCUB), in New Delhi on November 10- 11, which is going to be inaugurated by union Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah.
NAFCUB is the apex body that represents over 1,500 Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs) and nearly 60,000 Credit Societies across the country.

Tata-ASML deal to power Dholera Chip Fab as PM Modi pitches semiconductor push for youth

‎New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday announced a major step in India’s semiconductor ambitions, confirming that Tata Electronics and Dutch chip-equipment giant ASML have signed a memorandum of understanding to advance chip manufacturing in India. ‎
“Strengthening cooperation in futuristic sectors!” Modi posted on social media platform X, tagging Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten, ASML, and Tata Electronics.
