Cong urges govt to strongly take up attack on devotees with Canadian authorities

New Delhi, Nov 4 (UNI) Congress on Monday strongly condemned the attack on devotees outside a temple in Brampton by Khalistani supporters and urged the government to strongly take up the issue with the Canadian authorities.
Through a video message, party spokesperson Pawan Khera said, "The incident in Canada with the devotees in Brampton outside a temple is absolutely condemnable and in no uncertain words must be criticised".
"We urge the Government of India to take up this issue very strongly with the Canadian authorities. Nobody can be allowed to disrupt any devotee from going into a temple," he said.
