Bihar needs model based on economic development and social justice: Kharge

New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) As voting for the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections gets underway, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge called for a new governance model centered on economic growth, social justice, and equality.
Kharge criticized the Nitish Kumar-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, which has ruled the state for 20 years, describing it as opportunistic, corruption-ridden, and anti-poor.
Writing on X, he said, “Bihar needs a model filled with economic development, social justice, and equality. For 20 years, Bihar has endured an opportunistic, corruption-ridden government that is against the poor and deprived. Today, the time for change has arrived.”
