Infrastructure push fuels North East Development, Says RS Dy Chairman Harivansh

New Delhi, Nov 10 (UNI) The union government's sustained focus on infrastructure and connectivity is successfully driving the development aspirations of North East India, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh said today.
Addressing the 22nd Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Conference in Nagaland, Harivansh highlighted the substantial progress achieved in the region over the last decade, primarily through dedicated financial commitment.
"The commitment to spend 10% of the budget in this region looked ambitious at the start, but year after year, this focus has today shown us what can be achieved," Harivansh stated.
