Korean Cultural Centre India to host ‘Rang De Korea’ on October 11 in Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 9 (UNI) The Korean Cultural Centre India (KCCI) is gearing up to host the fourth edition of “Rang De Korea,” the country’s largest Korean cultural festival, on October 11 in New Delhi.
Launched in 2022, the festival has quickly become a major platform for celebrating Korea’s vibrant culture, and this year’s edition introduces an exciting new attraction, the “Seoul Street” experience.
For the first time, visitors will be transported to Korea’s most iconic locations through five specially curated zones inspired by famous destinations; Myeongdong (bustling shopping street), Bukchon Hanok Village (traditional homes), Jongno Food Alley (street food paradise), Hangang Park (riverside leisure spot), and Gangneung (home to the famous BTS bus stop).
Guests can immerse themselves in Korean food, fashion, games, lifestyle exhibits, and interactive brand experiences, offering a true taste of Seoul in the heart of Delhi.
A highlight of the event will be live cultural performances, including Taekwondo demonstrations by Kukkiwon, traditional Korean dance, fusion acts by S-Flava, and an electrifying show by the K-pop boy band Younite, who will also hold a special fan meet for Indian fans.
Sharing a glimpse of the preparations, KCCI posted a video of the NSU Dance Team, writing, “NSU brings the soul of Korea alive through elegant moves and powerful storytelling, blending modern artistry with classical heritage.”
Speaking about the festival, Hwang Il Yong, Director of the Korean Cultural Centre India, said, “Hallyu has become a mainstream cultural phenomenon among India’s youth. Through events like ‘Rang De Korea,’ we aim to strengthen Korea–India cultural ties and help Korean companies expand their presence in India.”
Following the Delhi event, the inaugural edition of ‘K-Harmony Festa’ will be held in Mumbai on October 12 at Jio World Drive, South Sky, in collaboration with the Maharashtra Tourism Department.
