'Bindiya Ke Baahubali' Season 2 to stream from January 21

Mumbai, Jan 16 (UNI) The politically charged and darkly satirical series "Bindiya Ke Baahubali" is set to return with its second season from January 21.
The newly released trailer suggests a decisive shift in tone, indicating that the struggle for power in "Bindiya Ke Baahubali has moved beyond electoral politics into darker, far more personal terrain.
Penned and helmed by Raj Amit Kumar, the first season explored the fictional town of Bindiya Ki Kahani in a black comedy, where crime and politics strangely intertwine.
The arrest of the feared mafia don Bade Davan during the elections upsets the balance of power. Seizing an opportunity, his ambitious son, Chote Davan, attempts to gain power, even if it means going against his own family. Season 2 delves deeper into this fractured father-son relationship and family conflict, which has now escalated into a fierce power struggle.
Talking about the new season, Raj Amit Kumar, the director of Bindiya Ke Bahubali, shared, "Season 1 was comedy, but in the second season, comedy turns into tragedy. If the previous season was a setup, this one is about payoff. If Season 1 was the salt, Season 2 is the tequila shot. The conflicts are far more dangerous emotionally and morally.
"The power struggle within the family is no longer just political; it's intimate, volatile, and deeply human. I wanted Bindiya to feel like a pressure cooker where every "Bahubali" character is pushed to their breaking point, and the cooker explodes with irreversible consequences."
Along with Ranvir Shorey and Saurabh Shukla, the series also stars Seema Biswas, Sai Tamhankar, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Kranti Prakash Jha, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Sheeba Chaddha in pivotal roles. "Bindiya Ke Baahubali" Season 2 to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video and Amazon MX Player from January 21, 2026. UNI NST SSP
