Akshay Kumar to host ‘Wheel of Fortune India’, premiering Jan 27

Mumbai, Jan 16 (UNI) Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is set to return to Indian television with ‘Wheel of Fortune India’, bringing his trademark wit and energy to the iconic game show.
The much-awaited Indian adaptation will premiere on January 27, on Sony Entertainment Television and will air Monday to Friday at 9 pm.
The latest promo showcases Akshay in top form—witty, energetic, and effortlessly engaging. Blending humour with gameplay, the promo highlights the show’s central twist where every letter counts.
Catchy taglines such as “Shabdon ki galatfehmi kar sakti hai behremi” and “Ab matter karega har ek akshar jab ghoomega jaadu ka chakkar” set the tone, underlining how sharp thinking and wordplay can instantly change fortunes.
