I had to push myself out of my comfort zone for role of Nikki: Lisa Mishra

Mumbai, May 9 (UNI) Singer and actress Lisa Mishra has revealed that securing the role of Nikki in the upcoming drama series 'The Royals' was no easy feat, as she underwent a rigorous, multi-round audition process that tested her emotional depth and artistic versatility.
In a candid revelation, Lisa revealed that the casting procedure was far from straightforward.
Lisa shared, “It was a long casting journey. I had to really push myself out of my comfort zone. The character of Niki is layered, stylish, and emotionally complex. I remember going through multiple rounds of auditions, each one different than the last. But I think the team saw something in me, a version of Niki that felt real. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.”
According to sources close to the production, many talented actors auditioned for the role, however Lisa's natural charisma, strong screen presence and depth of her performance ultimately distinguished her as the ideal choice.
