M'rashtra Bhushan Award 2023 to be conferred to veteran Marathi actor Ashok Saraf

Mumbai, Jan 30 (UNI) Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced on Tuesday that veteran Marathi film and theatre actor Ashok Saraf will be conferred the Maharashtra Bhushan Award for the year 2023 for his contribution to the field of arts.
An official press statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office stated that Chief Minister Shinde spoke to Saraf and congratulated him.
While congratulating the actor, Shinde said that not only comedy but also different shades -- from serious to villainous tendencies -- have been created through his acting and he has dominated audience, he added.
