Bihar to host Women Asian Champions Trophy 2024 in Rajgir

Patna, Nov 4 (UNI) Bihar is ready to host the prestigious ten-day Women's Asian Champions Trophy 2024, an international field hockey tournament, commencing from November 11 at Rajgir.
Bihar State Sports Authority sources said here on Monday that the tournament is a celebration of the spirit of sportsmanship and the prowess of women athletes across Asia.
Sources said that the Women's Asian Champions Trophy is an international hockey tournament that features the top 6 teams from Asia. The tournament was established in 2010 and is organized by the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) in collaboration with the respective National Hockey Federations of the host country. It is held biennially, with the participating teams competing for the title of the best Women's field hockey team in Asia.
