Three held for flying drone near Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s helicopter in Malda Important according to Google magic Click to teach Gmail that this conversation is not important

Malda, April 5 (UNI) West Bengal police on Sunday arrested three youths for allegedly operating a drone near the helicopter of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee shortly before its take-off at Malatipur, raising serious security concerns.
The accused have been identified as Ankit Paswan, Srikanta Mandal and Noor Akhtar, all residents of Katihar district in Bihar. Acting on the Chief Minister’s instructions, personnel from Chanchal police station in Malda district initially detained the trio for questioning before placing them under arrest following interrogation.
The incident took place on Saturday afternoon when a drone was spotted hovering close to the Chief Minister’s helicopter near the helipad. Banerjee was preparing to leave after addressing a rally — her second public meeting of the day in Malda district — when the device was noticed.

Former food and supplies minister being questioned by ED

Kolkata, May 15 (UNI) The former minister of the food and supplies department Rathin Ghosh landed at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Salt Lake's CGO Complex for questioning on Friday morning regarding the public distribution and municipal recruitment scam.
Ghosh, a senior Trinamool Congress (TMC) functionary, had earlier skipped five summons issued by the central agency. On Friday, he entered the CGO Complex at around 11am.
