Guidelines issued for smooth conduct of Republic Day 2026 in Ranchi

Ranchi, Jan 10 (UNI) A review meeting was held in Ranchi on Saturday to ensure the smooth and disciplined conduct of Republic Day 2026 celebrations at Morabadi Ground. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri, issued necessary guidelines covering all arrangements for the main event.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned departments to complete preparations within the stipulated timeline and ensure close coordination for the successful conduct of the ceremony. Guidelines were issued regarding the construction of waterproof pandals and galleries, seating arrangements for visitors and VVIPs, leveling and barricading of the ground, stage setup, sound system towers and uninterrupted power supply with soundproof generators.
Instructions were also given to ensure adequate drinking water supply, installation of VIP and temporary toilets, medical camps, ambulance services and fire safety arrangements at the venue. Officials were asked to complete road repairs and ensure proper cleanliness on all major routes leading to Morabadi Ground well before the event.
