BYJD alleges inter-state racket in SI recruitment scam, demands CBI Probe

Bhubaneswar, Oct 1 (UNI) The Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD) today alleged the involvement of an inter-state racket in the Sub-Inspector recruitment examination scam in Odisha and demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe.
BYJD President Chinmay Sahu claimed that BJP ministers and MLAs were linked to the racket and accused the state government of handing over the case to the Crime Branch to shield them.
“Justice cannot be expected when the investigation is entrusted to the same police department under which the malpractice occurred. It is like handing the keys to a thief,” Sahu said.
