BJD slams Odisha govt over fertilizer crisis, threatens statewide agitation

Bhubaneswar, Sep 13 (UNI) The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has strongly criticized the Odisha government for its failure to resolve the ongoing fertilizer crisis in the state and has announced a massive protest in front of Raj Bhavan on September 15.
The party has demanded immediate intervention to address the crisis, which it said has pushed farmers into untold misery.
Warning of intensified agitation, the BJD said it would extend the protest to every block in Odisha if the shortage persists, standing “shoulder to shoulder with farmers in their fight for justice.”
