BJP chief slams govt over tribal site security

Ranchi, Oct 6 (UNI) Jharkhand BJP president and leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi has leveled serious allegations against the Hemant Soren-led government, claiming discrimination in safeguarding tribal religious sites across the state.
Marandi said tribal sacred sites such as Sarna, Masna, Hadgadi, and Jaherthan have been repeatedly subjected to encroachments and attacks, yet the government has failed to implement effective security measures.
Marandi also criticized the administration’s decision to hold meetings with Christian religious leaders in Simdega regarding church security. Questioning the focus on churches alone, Marandi asked whether such measures aim to protect groups involved in religious conversions.
