BJP's Bista urges constitutional solution for Darjeeling, Terai & Dooars in meeting with Shah

Gangtok/ New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) In a significant move aimed at addressing the long-standing political and administrative concerns of North Bengal, Darjeeling MP and BJP national spokesperson Raju Bista met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the national capital.
During the meeting, Bista highlighted the "urgent need for a permanent political solution for the Darjeeling hills, Terai, and Dooars region", a demand rooted in decades of aspirations for justice, peace, and development.
Bista congratulated Amit Shah on becoming the longest-serving Home Minister of India and thanked him for his continued focus on the region's long-standing demands.
