After BTC poll debacle, BJP plans massive organizational activities in Assam

Guwahati, Oct 8 (UNI) The ruling BJP in Assam has planned a massive organizational activities in the days to come, particularly after the saffron party’s debacle in the just concluded election to the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC).
BJP spokesperson Jayanta Kumar Goswami on Wednesday said that the party is going to hold its extended office bearer meeting in Dibrugarh on Thursday and Friday to discuss the current political situation in the state and the party’s future course of action.
“The two day meeting in Dibrugarh will be attended by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, party’s Assam unit president Dilip Saikia, union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, union Minister Pabitra Margeerita, party’s state in charge Harish Dwivedi, the state office bearers and members of the party’s core committee etc,” he said adding that the party is going to launch a massive organizational activities in the run up to the next year's assembly elections.
