Amit Shah lays foundation stone of Janaki Temple in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi, Aug 8 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah today laid the foundation stone of the grand Mata Janaki Temple at Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi district.
Shah, along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the temple’s construction in Sitamarhi. The rituals were conducted with full Vedic chanting in the presence of saints from across the country, several union ministers, Deputy chief ministers,
cabinet colleagues of Nitish government and others.

NSF, CNTC oppose Yoga Day observance in Nagaland schools on June 21

Dimapur, June 18 (UNI) The Naga Students Federation (NSF) and the Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) on Thursday opposed observance of International Yoga Day in schools across Nagaland on June 21, which falls on Sunday.
In a statement, the NSF voiced its strong opposition to the circular issued by the directorate of school education department, directing educational institutions across the state to observe the
12th International Day of Yoga on Sunday.
