Assam CM slams Rahul Gandhi for 'surrender Modi' jibe

Guwahati, June 6 (UNI) Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, while slamming Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for his ‘surrender Modi’ jibe, took his followers through a "reality check" as to which party and family surrendered India’s interest and territory.
“Rahul Gandhi has the audacity to mock the Prime Minister despite the massive success of OperationSindoor . Let’s jog his memory as to which party and family has surrendered India’s interest and territory, and backstabbed the people with their treachery,” said the Assam Chief Minister on his X handle.
“1947–48 – PoK Betrayal: It was Nehru who rushed to the United Nations during the Kashmir conflict, halted our advancing Army, and gifted away what we now call Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. A military victory sacrificed at the altar of global appeasement,” Sarma said, adding that in 1962, 38,000 sq km of Indian territory handed over without firing a bullet. “Nehru’s only response when China threatened Assam? 'My heart goes out to the people of Assam',” Sarma added.
