Suspended Odisha Police Havildar arrested for misbehaving with destitute woman

Kendrapara, Nov 12 (UNI) Marshaghai police arrested Havildar Ajay Sahu of Kudanagari police station on Wednesday for allegedly misbehaving with a destitute woman. Sahu had been suspended on August 26 by Kendrapara SP Siddharth Kataria due to dereliction of duty, and departmental proceedings were initiated against him.

Assam police arrests five for supporting Delhi bomb blast

Guwahati, Nov 12 (UNI) A day after Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma issued a warning, Assam police have arrested five individuals and identified 34 other terror sympathisers for allegedly supporting the Delhi bomb blast.
“In connection with the recent Delhi blast, Assam Police has arrested the following individuals for spreading offensive and inflammatory content online. Assam Police will continue to act swiftly and firmly against anyone misusing social media to spread hatred or glorify terror," said the Assam Chief Minister on his X handle.

Patna, Nov 12 (UNI) BJP on Wednesdayay said NDA would surpass the number of seats the exit polls have predicted for the coalition in the Bihar assembly polls and RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav would struggle to get even the status of the Leader of the Opposition.
National spokesman of BJP Shahnawaz Hussain, while reacting to Tejashwi's statement rejecting the findings of various exit polls, said it was surprising that a scientific analysis of agencies was rejected by the RJD leader whose credibility was nowhere, he remarked.
