Odisha: Apollo Green Energy to invest Rs 4,500 crore in Green Energy Projects

Bhubaneswar, Apr 16 (UNI) Apollo Green Energy Limited has proposed an investment of Rs 4,500 crore for green energy projects in Odisha, targeting a total generation capacity of 1,000 MW of solar power.
The company is currently constructing a 54 MWP solar power project worth Rs 151 crore in Ganjam district, Odisha, using the EPC-Ground Solar mode. Apollo Green Energy is also eager to implement additional green energy projects in other parts of the state.
During a meeting held on Wednesday, chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Apollo Green Energy Limited gave a PowerPoint presentation outlining their plans to set up solar power projects across Odisha.
