Odisha CM raises duty allowance of housekeepers, civil defence volunteers

Bhubaneswar, June 13 (UNI) Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday announced a hike in the allowances for housekeepers and civil defence volunteers.
As per the decision, the duty call-up allowance for housekeepers has been increased from Rs 612 to Rs 623. This revised rate will be applicable retrospectively from January 1, 2025.
Similarly, the daily duty allowance for civil defence volunteers has been raised from Rs 31 to Rs 150, and the training allowance from Rs 28 to Rs 140. These revised rates will be retrospectively effective from May 1.
