Four juveniles arrested for attack on traffic police constable in Bokaro

Bokaro, Dec 2 (UNI) Police in Bokaro arrested four juveniles for allegedly attacking a traffic police constable during vehicle checking near Sector-12 Mod under the Bokaro Steel City police station area. A country-made revolver and the motorcycle used in the incident were recovered from their possession.
According to police sources, Constable No. 214 Dileep Kumar Singh, who was on duty at Naya Mod on November 30 around 4 p.m., lodged a written complaint stating that four youths on a Splendor motorcycle approached from the Sector-12 side.
When signalled to stop for routine traffic checking, the youths verbally abused him and began scuffling. During the altercation, one of the accused allegedly attacked the constable with a sharp-edged weapon with intent to kill, leaving him seriously injured. The group then fled the spot on the motorcycle.
