Four militants nabbed in Manipur

Imphal, May 18 (UNI) Security forces nabbed four militants belonging to four different outfits in four separate operations during the last 24 hours.
Police said security forces arrested a militant from Leirongthel Pitra under Nongpok Sekmai-PS, Thoubal District with pistol.
In another incident a militant was nabbed from Khabeisoi near 7 MR Gate under Heingang-PS, Imphal East District.
The arrested person is directly involved in recruiting new cadres to their organisation, police added.
A militant was nabbed from Khumbong Bazar under Patsoi-PS, Imphal West District and another militant was nabbed from Wangjing Sorokhaibam Leirak under Thoubal-PS, Thoubal District.
Police said in a search operation SMG Carbine with an empty magazine, modified CMG with one empty magazine, DBBL Gun, 9 mm Pistol and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the foothill of Kumbi Setupur under Kumbi PS, Bishnupur District.
