Vedanta Aluminium strengthens inclusive workplace culture at Jharsuguda Plant

Bhubaneswar, Jun 4 (UNI) Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest aluminium producer, has reinforced its commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace at its Jharsuguda operations, with a strong focus on equitable opportunities and representation across its workforce.
In line with the Pride Month 2026 theme, “For All of us,” which emphasises creating spaces where individuals can live and work with dignity and authenticity, the company is advancing inclusive hiring practices, equitable workplace policies, and a culture of respect throughout its operations.
At its mega aluminium plant in Jharsuguda, women now account for 21 per cent of the workforce and are actively engaged in critical functions such as potline operations, maintenance, engineering, power operations, and leadership roles.

Monsoon colonial birds flock to Bhitarkanika for annual nesting season
