Kolkata's first NRI multi-speciality medical facility Ruby Hospital decides to expand 500 beds by 2025

Kolkata, Apr 25 (UNI) City's first NRI multi-speciality medical facility- Ruby General Hospital- on Friday marked its 30th foundation year and decided to expand its bed capacity to 500 by 2025, founder chairman Dr. Kamal K Dutta said.
Then chief minister Jyoti Basu inaugurated the hospital on this day in 1995 as the maiden NRI multi-speciality medical facility in eastern India and later Nobel laureate Mother Teresa unveiled the cardiac surgery unit and Mother Teresa ward on October 27 in the same year.
Dutta explained the future expansion plan saying they would set up altogether 500 beds capacity and a specialised cancer centre in the premises on the EM By-pass by end of this year.
