Kolkata, May 15 (UNI) West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose was released on Thursday from the Apollo Multispeciality Hospital in the city after his treatment for a coronary complaint. He was earlier admitted to the Military Command Hospital in Alipore on April 21 after returning from a visit to trouble-hit Murshidabad district.
"The governor was brought to Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals, Kolkata, on April 22 with a complaint of shoulder pain after his hectic work during his visit to the field. On detailed examination, he was found to have mild coronary artery disease. and underwent an intervention procedure," the Apollo Hospitals said in a bulletin today.
The governor responded to treatment and has been released from the hospital on May 15, the bulletin added.
