Jharkhand Governor gives assent to state MSME Bill, 2025

Ranchi, Nov 4 (UNI) Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar has accorded his approval to the 'Jharkhand Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Special Exemption) Bill, 2025' passed by the state Assembly.
The primary objective of this legislation is to promote industrial development and attract investment in the state through the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector.
Under the provisions of the Bill, several relaxations have been granted from various approvals and inspections required for the establishment and operation of industries, simplifying and expediting the process of setting up new enterprises.

Farmers unearth 179 bullets from rat holes in Salboni

Kolkata, Dec 15 (UNI) About 179 bullets, both shorter and SLR, were unearthed in the erstwhile Maoists bastion at Salboni in West Medinipur when some local farmers were digging earth to close the pockets of ratholes prompting to local authority to dispatch police forces to seize the ammunition.
