Flood waters enter Assam's famed Kaziranga National park

Guwahati, June 4 (UNI) The first wave of floods in Assam this year has affected the Kaziranga National park, a UNESCO world heritage site.
Park officials said on Wednesday that the flood waters have submerged some areas under Burhapahar and Bagori ranges of the park, affecting wildlife.
"At least 50 anti-poaching camp have been submerged inside the park due to surging waters of the river," said a park official while pointing that the situation is however under control as it is not high floods.
