Jharkhand’s women leaders to represent state at World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos

Ranchi, Jan 13 (UNI) Jharkhand will engage with global leaders at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos and during an official visit to the United Kingdom, with a focus on women’s leadership, gender equity and inclusive development.
As part of the state delegation, Kalpana Murmu Soren, Chairperson of the Women and Child Development Committee of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly and MLA from Gandey, will represent Jharkhand at several high-level international platforms.
A tribal women leader, she will present the perspectives and aspirations of Adivasi, rural and economically marginalised women from the state.
