27.65 percent voter turnout recorded till 11 am in first phase of Bihar Assembly Elections

Patna, Nov 6 (UNI) A voter turnout of 27.65 percent was recorded across Bihar till 11 am today as polling for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections is underway amid tight security arrangements in 121 constituencies, according to data released by the Election Commission of India.
The highest voter turnout of 30.37 percent was registered in Begusarai, while Shekhpura district recorded the lowest turnout at 26.04 percent, according to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO).
Madhepura has recorded 28.46 percent, Saharsa at 29.68, Darbhanga 26.07, Muzaffarpur 29.66, Gopalganj 30.04, Siwan 27.09, Saran 28.52, Vaishali 28.67, Samastipur 27.92, Khagaria 28.96, Munger 26.68, Lakhisarai 30.32, Nalanda 26.86, Patna 23.71, Bhojpur 26.76, Buxar 28.02, and Sheikhpura 26.04 percent.

Farmers unearth 179 bullets from rat holes in Salboni
