Centre sanctions Rs 140 Cr for Homeopathy, Ayurveda College in Tripura

Agartala, Dec 3 (UNI) Tripura government has planned to establish a Homeopathic Medical College in Agartala and an Ayurveda Medical College in Gomati district, two institutions with 60 intake capacity each, for which union Ministry of AYUSH has allocated Rs 140 crore, said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha here today.
Chief Minister held a high-level meeting where discussions focused on the detailed planning and execution of these projects, targeted to launch next academic session.
Dr Saha emphasised the importance of gaining insights from existing Homeopathic and Ayurveda medical colleges in other states, recommending that such experiences be applied locally to ensure robust development.
