Ranchi Municipal Corporation steps up preparations for Jharkhand’s 25th State Foundation Day celebration

Ranchi, Nov 7 ( UNI) The Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) has intensified preparations for the grand celebration of Jharkhand’s 25th State Foundation Day, which will be held on November 15 and 16, at Morabadi Ground.
The celebration will be marked by a series of cultural and public engagement programs beginning on November 11.
A review meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Additional Administrator Sanjay Kumar to assess the readiness for the upcoming events.

Mizoram to sign USD 108 million ADB loan to strengthen public healthcare

Aizawl, Dec 16 (UNI) Mizoram is set to sign a USD 108 million loan agreement with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to support and strengthen its public healthcare system, Health and Family Welfare Minister Lalrinpuii said on Tuesday.
The loan, approved earlier this month, is part of the ADB-funded project titled ‘Supporting Public Healthcare System Strengthening to Achieve Universal Healthcare for Mizoram’.

VPP LS member urges Amit Shah to extend ILP to Meghalaya

New Delhi/ Shillong, Dec 16 (UNI) Voice of the People Party (VPP) Lok Sabha MP, Dr. Ricky Andrew Syngkon on Tuesday met Home Minister Amit Shah, and urged the central government to expedite the extension of the Inner Line Permit (ILP) regulation to Meghalaya.
In a letter submitted to the Home Minister, Syngkon said the ILP would address concerns over demographic change, land alienation and unregulated migration in the tribal-majority state.
