SJTA urges police action against servitors for carrying mobile phones on chariots

Puri, July 8 (UNI) The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has urged the police to take legal action against servitors who violated orders by carrying mobile phones onto the chariots during the Puri Rath Yatra.
The Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for security filed a formal complaint at the Simhadwar police station today stating that several servitors were seen using mobile phones on the chariots
(rathas), in clear violation of the established directive.
