Odisha STF arrests drug peddler with 319g brown sugar haul

Bhubaneswar, June 11 (UNI) The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Police has arrested a drug peddler and seized contraband brown sugar (heroin) weighing 319 grams, along with other incriminating materials from his possession.
According to STF sources, acting on intelligence input, a team of STF, Bhubaneswar, conducted a raid on the banks of the Kuakhai River near Hi-Tech-Tankapani Road on Tuesday and apprehended the drug peddler.
During the search, the STF team recovered the contraband from Mrunal Samal, a resident of Kesura Lane-2 under Badagada police station in the state capital.
