Four nabbed in Manipur for abducting Delhi, Jaipur residents

Imphal, May 20 (UNI) Four persons have been arrested in Manipur after a two-day combing operation in connection with the alleged abduction of two inhabitants of Delhi and Jaipur, police said on Tuesday.
Manipur Police said the operation began on May 18 after the abduction complaint was filed, and finally, the four arrests were made at Himalayan Tiles Naka under Imphal West district.
Both victims have been rescued,
Police said the two victims were lured with the promise that they would receive training for a networking business.
Once they reached Imphal, they were kidnapped and threatened by the perpetrators, who posed as armed goons, demanding ransom and threatening to kill them if the ransom was not paid.
Police identified the four persons as Hellary, Lemba, Anand Singh and Naresh Singh. A .32 pistol and two gun licences have been recovered from them. UNI NS SSP
