FIR against 50 people for deadly attack on Jharkhand police officer

Khunti, Nov 3 (UNI) A mob attacked a police officer while he was attempting to maintain law and order in Jharkhand's Khunti district today, a senior officer said.
violence was reported from Khunti district, where Rania Police Station In-Charge were attacked while attempting to maintain law and order .
According to police sources, the attack took place at the Dyre fair in Lohagarha under the Rania police station area when the PS in-charge Vikas Kumar Jaiswal and armed personnel, accompanied by Circle Officer (CO)-cum-Block Development Officer (BDO) Prashant Dang and armed forces, intervened to stop a clash between two groups. The situation quickly escalated, leading to a violent assault on the police personnel.
