Revenue employee arrested while taking Rs 2.5 lakh bribe

Kishanganj (Bihar) , Dec 2 (UNI) Vigilance sleuths arrested a revenue employee while he was allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 2.5 lakh here today.
Bureau source said here that a trap was laid following a complaint made by Owais Ansari of Khagra Ward No. 22 under Kishanganj Municipal Council area and the employee, identified as Rajdeep Paswan, was arrested while taking the bribe amount near Abhishek Hotel in the city.
The revenue employee had allegedly demanded Rs 2.7 lakh from the complainant in exchange for correcting the land records (Parimarjan).
