Mystery shrouds death of three family members in Kolkata

Kolkata, March 4 (UNI) Mystery shrouds the death of three members of a family - husband, his wife, and their minor son - at their home in south Kolkata's Haltu, police said on Tuesday.
Somnath Roy (40), his spouse Sumitra, and their two-and-half-year-old son Rudranir were found hanging by a rope from the ceiling at their Purbasthali home under Kasba police station this morning.
The body of Somnath Roy was found hanging with his son in his lap and Sumitra was also found hanging by a rope in the same room.

Villagers, JNC protest against transfer of community land to cement company
