Assam CM writes to his Uttrakhand counterpart seeking proper probe into murder case

Guwahati, June 13 (UNI) Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday urged his Uttarakhand counterpart Pushkar Singh Dhami to initiate a comprehensive investigation into the mysterious death of Rosmita Hojai.
A resident of Assam's Dima Hasao district, Hojai went missing from Uttarakhand on June 6 and her body was recovered from the Ganga River in Rishikesh on June 11.
"I am writing to draw your attention to a serious and distressing incident involving a young woman from Dima Hasao district of Assam, Smt Rashmita Hojai who went missing under suspicious circumstances in Rishikesh .... Later her body was found near Rishikesh after five days..." Sarna wrote in his letter to Dhami.
