Third Cabinet Retreat 2026 concludes with roadmap to unlock Meghalaya’s economic potential

Shillong, Jan 17 (UNI) The third ‘Cabinet retreat' of the Meghalaya government concluded today at the New Shillong Township, with the state’s resolute focus on its strategic commitments and opportunities under Mission 10, including promotion of agri tourism, urban development and job generation.
Following a set of careful deliberations centred on social commitments, Day 2 brought together the Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Cabinet Ministers, and senior officials to deliberated on the “10 Opportunities” under Vision 2032, strategically aimed at transforming the State’s economic landscape.
Outlining the development trajectory, the Chief Minister emphasised the critical need to unlock opportunities across key sectors, including tourism, agriculture, and private sector investment, to drive the State’s growth.
